My Journey
My Journey
I strive to create pieces that meld the spontaneous with the contemplative. As a child, my curiosity for the arts was sparked and kindled by my grandmother - an accomplished painter. She embodied that balance of technique and expression.
I studied painting in Oregon, then New Mexico, where I soaked up the turquoise skies, coral cliffs, and pastel green flora. When not striving to capture the vistas of the southwest, I spent studio time exploring portraiture. I am endlessly fascinated by the minute shifts of cool and warm skin tones, the subtle forms of the hair and lips, and that inscrutable singularity emanating from the eyes.
I returned home in 2023 and am excited to explore the places and faces of Cleveland, Ohio.
